TeleStar99 Communications switched and dedicated voice services enable businesses of all types and sizes in the US to make calls over the TeleStar99 Communications network and benefit from our competitive call rates.

If you have the dedicated voice service, you will be connected via an access line directly to the nearest TeleStar99 Communications point of presence or node, without any intermediate switching by the Local Exchange Carrier (LEC). There is a choice of line and signaling types, including ISDN PRI for larger sites.

With switched access, you are connected to the TeleStar99 Communications network via standard telephone lines supplied by your LEC or competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC). Smart equipment provided and installed by TeleStar99 Communications routes your calls automatically to our network.

Benefits
Savings on call charges. TeleStar99 Communications aims to offer its customers the best possible value for money. The savings depend on the traffic profile of your individual sites and on the pricing plan you are on.

Control over costs. Comprehensive summary billing reports are provided as standard. A range of optional billing reports is also available to help you monitor your telecoms spend. You can also use features such as account codes, which enable you to identify departments, projects or individuals on your bills, so you can re-allocate the cost of calls.

Retain existing phone numbers. You don't have to change your existing phone numbers, which are well known to your customers and staff. Switched calls are routed via your existing LEC lines and if you want dedicated access, we can port your numbers to the TeleStar99 Communications network.

A single supplier for all sites. With TeleStar99 Communications switched and dedicated voice you can integrate all your sites, large or small, into one network. For your larger sites, with more complex telecoms requirements you would probably want dedicated access, but for smaller branch sites with just a few lines, switched access may be more appropriate.

Call types
Both switched and dedicated customers can make all types of long-distance calls -- intrastate (intraLATA and interLATA), interstate and international. Local calls are still carried by your LEC. If you have switched access, you can also take advantage of the TeleStar99 Communications domestic and international directory assistance services. Dedicated customers can also use directory assistance services, but they must ensure that their PBX is programmed to route these calls via a switched line.

Account codes
Account codes allow you to identify long distance calls on your bills by codes that you assign to employees, departments, clients, or projects. You can then allocate the cost of calls to the appropriate budget or cost center. Account Codes can also be used with inbound TollFree calls.

Security codes
If you want full accountability for all outbound calls made from your sites, you can use Security Codes. Only those calls that are followed by a valid Security Code, assigned and programmed by you, will be completed. Security Codes also work with inbound TollFree calls.

Range of voice services
In addition to basic switched and dedicated voice, TeleStar99 Communications also offers a TollFree service (domestic and international) and conference-on-demand capability.

Management reporting
TeleStar99 Communications offers a wide range of billing options to help you manage your voice communications. Standard paper-based reports are provided free of charge, and there are chargeable options which allow you to receive reports more frequently or sort and summarize your reports to suit your requirements.

As an alternative to paper-based reports, you can have your call data delivered electronically, on diskette/CD-ROM or online via the Internet. This enables you to manipulate the data on your PC and tailor reports to your own requirements.
